ASEAN Skills Competition
A biennial event promoting vocational excellence across the region

Championing skills excellence
Objectives:
- promote the development of quality vocational and technical and work values among the youth and skilled workers;
- foster technical cooperation in vocational/technical education and training between member countries;
- encourage close cooperation between governments, industries, employers’ and workers’ organizations, and vocational training institutions; and
- provide a vehicle to recognize work excellence and develop a new generation of highly skilled workers.





Competitions
What started with four countries and six skill areas in 1995 has grown to include 10 countries in more than 25 skill areas.
